There are many tried and tested ways in which one can increase their vertical jump; via resistance training, plyometric training, reductions of body fat. This article will address how to approach the plyometric portion of in vertical jump training. It's of the author's opinion that learning how to correctly land should be the first step in plyometric workouts.
