Making Money As A Test Subject In Drug Research

This article describes the realities of taking part in the testing of medical drugs. Many pharmaceutical companies conduct such tests; you have to pass a medical exam in order to be allowed to take part. Normally they test drugs which are already on the market, moreover, some of those drugs could have been on the market for quite some time, but the latest "version" has some new "filler". The purpose of those studies is to determine bioavailability of a drug, in other words, how its blood concentration changes with time. Several types of studies are described here, as well as many details of what it means to be a test subject of such a study, the kind of details, which you can only find out if you have taken part in such a study. Several potential hazards are described, some of them very serious, involving considerable risk to health.
