Is Modern Food Packaging Becoming As Dangerous As Bad Food?

The European Food Safety Authority has recently reduced the TDI (Tolerable Daily Intake) levels for Bisphenol A, which can be found in many food packaging products. This action is based upon recent links found with kidney, liver and mammary gland damage and wider issues including possible cancer have not been ruled out. Despite these fears the danger to public health has been classified as acceptable and our article asks the question of whether our modern food packaging can be trusted?
