Regular Hand Washing Keeps You Safe From Salmonella Infection and Typhoid

Salmonella is a bacterium that belongs to the family Enterobacteriaceae family. Resembling the shape of a rod with a long flagella, the diameter of the bacteria is between 2 and 5 micro millimeters. Salmonella obtains energy from the oxidation through organic sources, and so are referred to as chemoorganotrophs. The bacterium is found in both motile and non-motile phases.
